What This Lesson Covers:
This lesson is the third in my series "Combining Rolls & Licks Volume #1". Everything you learned in the first and second volume you can apply to this lesson and vise versa. Just like in the first and second volume, I call this my "Brick and Mortar" Lesson. It's because when I'm soloing or just making stuff up over a tune, I think of ROLLS as the Bricks and MY FILLER LICKS as the Mortar. This lesson covers 5 Great Filler Licks that works over G, C, or D chords, 6 Movable Licks, and a great new set of really useful Rolls. All you need to do is just "CUT AND PASTE" these Filler Licks and Rolls and whatever order you want, keep good rhythm, and make sure you change when the chord changes, and before too long you sound like you know what you're doing! And You Will!!! :-)
This lesson also comes with 2 Jam Tracks of a really common Bluegrass/Folk chord progression, one at 85 BPM and another at 100 BPM. They are great for practicing these Licks and Rolls!!!
