#05 - PEDAL STEEL BASICS - "Beginner Backup Licks"

This is Volume #5 of my E9 Pedal Steel Basics Lessons. In this lesson I teach you "Beginner Backup Licks" and how they fit over the Jam Track that comes with the lesson. It uses the Basic Chord Grips Positions we have been working on it the Pedal Steel Basics Series, but we are now playing some really useful and very basic Licks over those chord positions. These are great to use as "Filler Licks" or when you are jamming or backing someone up. Although they are in the Key of G they are all easily "Movable" to whatever key you want to play them in. I also talk about "Pickblocking" or muting using your picks in this lesson too. One of the licks makes for a great "Pickblocking Exercise".
